So, when we were dispatched, we would actually try and put them back online if we were able to temporarily fix, or permanently fix it.r/longisland is now public. r/longisland on Reddit: wtf is there to do?

Posted by u/[Deleted Account] - 11 votes and 56 comments Either way, there are things to do if you want to find things to do - if you're determined to say "Long Island sucks" and not find something, then you won't. If you open up and try some new things, adventure a little, and so on, you'll figure something out. I think living most places as a 20-something without a ton of cash make it seem like there's nothing to do.It was acquired about a year or so ago, and hasn't been updated in forever, and that is the kind of thing that takes a long time to orchestrate with a lot of info being put in, etc. ... I posted this thread earlier. Almost anything that there is costs a decent sum of money ... Yea I agree. You are in babylon, too bad i live on the other side of the island :(Nothing. I grew up on long island, left for the military for 4 years, I've been back for 7 months now and i'm bored as hell. Going to school and hibernating. All the bars around here suck. Drinking is overrated anyway, unless it's at a concert or something. I'd go to the racetrack or shooting range more often, but that shit is expensive.I live in the center of the island and the only place to go to really is the Starbucks one town over. The bars around here are terrible and way to expensive. Not many options in the winter I'm afraid. ... Funny you say that... There are starbucks all over long island that are always filled.

Otherwise, it would take ~1500 stings for them to actually kill you. You would pretty much just have to sit there and let them keep stinging you for a long time.My annoyingly long hair with the grasp of a pickpocket thanks you for this tip.

10 WTF Things About Long Island

Beyond the obvious issues that everyone complains about–taxes, traffic, cost of living, the way we tawk–there are some seriously twisted things about this place we call home. Here are a few we take for granted that boggle the minds of interlopers who happen upon our fair Island. In the minds of the people who approved these plans, minorities = Democrats. And the rest is history. So while we still have the Long Island Expressway (gasp!) the parkways have ingloriously preserved this piece of our racist history. But here’s the deal: If you’re from Long Island and don’t know this already and insist on driving a too-big-for-the-bridges truck on the parkways, you might be better off moving to New Jersey and attempting to navigate the insane jug-handle exits they built to confuse everyone else on the planet not from the Garden State. They don’t deny their Long Island roots; they just got on with their lives and moved to places celebrities move, wherever that is. Not the Lohan family. They’re hanging around doing their level best to constantly remind people that they’re Long Islanders.Who’s up for a road trip? There’s nothing quite like a scenic drive down Long Island’s historic thoroughfare, meandering through quaint South Fork villages on your way to the iconic Montauk Lighthouse. Such a journey is best made any time of the year that’s not summer.
